However, more stringent investigation into the qualification of the Catholic to receive some of the sacraments will be required as well as meeting the requirements of the Diocese of Youngstown. 2. You must understand what you are receiving. 3. You must meet the requirements of the Catholic Church, the Diocese of Youngstown and the State of Ohio (for the civil requirements for marriage). It is customary but not mandatory to give the Priest a stole fee, if one can afford it.
